American singer, Camila Cabello trends online as she shares her annual #SpotifyWrapped for the ‘Top Songs’ category.

The season of #SpotifyWrapped is upon us as the end of the year draws nigh. The annual #SpotifyWrapped is an end-of-the-year listening data provided by giant music streaming platform, Spotify to show users information like top artists, top songs, and streaming minutes.

This year, Spotify activated the feature yesterday, December 4th, 2024, and has made internet users and Spotify users start sharing their wrapped graphics on their social media pages. Surprisingly, Camila Cabello is not left out of this craze as the singer took to her IG story to share a screenshot of her most listened songs on the streaming platform.

The singer’s ‘Top Songs’ category, containing five songs, features songs by popular Nigerian afrobeats stars like Rema, Crayon, and Maleek Berry. Camila Cabello went ahead to write: “she wanna hear some Afrobeats” on her Instagram story.

The songs on her Spotify Wrapped include: Ijo (Laba Laba) by Crayon, Kontrol by Maleek Berry, Charm by Rema, Crush by Ethel Cain and lastly, We Caa Done by Jamaican DJ, Popcaan featuring Drake.

This feat by these spectacular Afrobeats artists is the testament of the fact that the genre is now making waves globally and gaining massive recognition and accolades rapidly.
