American pop singer, Billie Eilish has expressed sheer disappointment at the outcome of the 2024 US presidential election.
The US election was conducted on the 5th of November, 2024, and results were counted declaring former president Donald Trump the winner and the President-elect of the United States of America. Trump defeated his closest rival, Kamala Harris in a mildly tight race; taking the lead in both popular votes and electoral college votes.
The loss of Kamala Harris came as a shock to her supporters and citizens from other countries in the world, who thought the people of America would be wise to vote for the Vice President over the former president with 34 felonies, one conviction and a history of sexual assault. Disappointingly, the reverse was clearly the case.
Billie Eilish is not left out of the disappointment train as she took to her Instagram story to react to the outcome of the election. Recall that Billie Eilish endorsed Kamala Harris alongside her brother, Finnears as reported by Variety here. Also, TrendsPusher reported that the pop singer stopped her concert halfway to urge her fans to vote for the Democratic Party candidate to protect the rights of women.

Eilish, a staunch supporter of women’s rights to bodily autonomy, reacting to the election outcome said it was a “war on women”.
