As the US general election is around the corner, citizens and people from around the world are highly anticipating the D-Day with great tension. Analysts and observers call it a competitive and a History-Defining race as supporters of the frontrunner candidates are working actively to get their candidates elected as the 47th President of the United States.
In recent news, the Vice President of the USA and Democrat Candidate, Kamala Harris has slammed the former president Donald Trump in a new tweet. This is no surprise as the two top candidates have, at several times in their campaigns, thrown direct and indirect jabs at each other to the amusement of their supporters.
In a tweet shared on her official X account, Harris bluntly slammed the former president — calling him weak. According to Harris, Trump is a weak man who seeks flattery from dictators. She also accused him of demeaning the America’s military. Furthermore, she blasted him for trying to terminate the sovereign constitution of the United States.

In a new tweet on her X page, she wrote:
“Donald Trump is weak. He seeks flattery from dictators: Weak.He has demeaned America’s military: Weak.He has called for terminating the Constitution: Weak.”
This tweet has gathered several reactions from X users, with a section supporting the notion that Trump is a weak man who craves for flattery from dictators. On the other hand, conservatives and supporters of Donald Trump blasted Harris for wrongly referring to their candidate as ‘weak’.
Kamala Harris v. Donald Trump: What Voters are Saying
In less than 48 hours, the citizens of the United States of America will go to the polls to decide who they want to succeed Joe Biden as the 47th President of the United States. Early voting (in-persin and via mail) has started and over 10 million votes have been cast.
Polls have shown that the race is quite close between the Republican and Democrat candidates. Celebrities, politicians, business tycoons have taken sides and publicly endorsed their favourite candidates. Beyonce, Cardi B, Glorilla, Tyler Perry, Barack Obama, Mark Cuban, Jeff Bezos, and other celebrities and politicians have declared their support for Kamala Harris. Elon Musk, on the other hand, alongside other important personalities have stood behind the Republican candidate.
Stats show that Harris is making inroads in the Black community, LGBTQ+ community, Latino population, young first time voters, liberal folks, women and most Christian population. Trump, however, is gaining momentum in the white population, conservative folks, evangelicals, large percentage of Christians in America and a sufficient part of the Latino population. A huge chunk of the Latino population switched from Trump to Harris after a comedian cracked a ‘joke’ saying Puerto Rico is a floating garbage in America at a Trump rally. The Puerto Rican community didn’t find this joke unfortunately and this led to a huge decline in the number of Latinos supporting the former president, including Bad Bunny publicly endorsing Kamala while slamming Trump for allowing racism in his rallies.
Mainstream media has severally reiterated how heated this race is because of the conversations and activities surrounding the campaign. Some of the media houses have also endorsed Kamala Harris because of her “policies that could bring massive reform in the US economy”.
Several election polls and surveys undertook by eligible voters of different demographics have shown the likely candidate to win the election. Some have predicted Trump winning with a slow margin while some predicts Harris as the winner of the upcoming election.
However, fingers are tightly crossed as we wait for the official election date and declaration of the final result. Until then, stay tuned to TrendsPusher for your election updates.
